Grace: The Undeserved Favour

The word in its sense has varied meanings all pointing to unmerited favour or opportunity.Grace as we all know is freely given unto us,else it cannot be called grace. Grace is a legal backing given to believers  to access heavenly resources like righteousness, peace and all of God’s blessing both material and abstract.
Grace was poured onto all flesh in John 1:16

And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace.

So from the fullness of Jesus on the cross, did we believers receive this great blessing. The grace of God in our lives causes us to receive things we could not have received by our own works but Christ’s.
In every area of life there is a particular grace that ought to be manifested so it will flourish or prosper. When God calls and chooses you to do “A”.He gives you grace enough to work it.If your friend has been called to do “B” and because he sees you prosper in that field,he should give it a try…only to fail beyond reason. The grace of God given to every individual differs in measure [Rom 12:3-6]So we have various different abilities and talents because of the grace in our lives.
•By grace have we received the gift of God which is life, in Christ Jesus.

Grace equips us to receive mercy.

Grace can be multiplied, by reading the scriptures and meditating in faith. [2Pet 1:2 ” KJV:Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,” ]When we look into the WORD we receive more if God,and what He gives us is grace to succeed .
Grace is not to be misused or wasted,it has to work so you ought to make it function by functioning in your field. By so doing ,you are activating the grace of God.[2 For 6:1″ KJV:We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.”]
Grace is also  God’s supply of provisions in our lives. When Paul, the apostle, was afflicted with a thorn in his flesh and asked thrice of the Lord to take it away the Lord replied him saying,

My grace is sufficient for thee.

Here God was saying I will not take it away but I have given you strength in your weakness. That’s why Paul boasted not in his strength but in his weakness, for there the Lord may be glorified.
Because of Christ’s death for us we have received grace;access to the things of God freely. So its not because of your works but Christ’s, know that and walk by that.[Rom5:2″ KJV:By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”]

KJV:For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.(Rom 6:14)

We are no longer under the law but under grace. For Christ came to fulfil the law, that we who could have never fully obey it can and live.So then we then are in the dispensation of grace ( Eph 3:2).We live under grace unto life, thus all believers are righteous and right before God by default. Thence a believer cannot live no longer under the law lest he rejects the covenant of grace(see Eph 6).

Ruth and Esther received a shadow of grace which was to be revealed in the coming of Christ.
[Rut 2:2 ”
KJV:And Ruth the Moabitess said unto Naomi, Let me now go to the field, and glean ears of corn after him in whose sight I shall find grace. And she said unto her, Go, my daughter.” and indeed she found Grace ; Rut 2:10 ” KJV:Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger?”]
In the case of Queen Esther,Est 7:3″ KJV:Then Esther the queen answered and said, If I have found favour in thy sight, O king, and if it please the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request:”]
She also received such grace, prior to them they all acknowledged God first,so to receive you ought to believe in Christ and His finished works on the cross.

I pray grace be upon you and be multiplied to do as Christ expects from you.
